sound experiment (tuning forks)

Today i will tell you about my science experiment. The experiment was about tuning forks. If you don’t know what a tuning fork is it’s a piece of metal with a handle and a space between each other.

What I did:

EXperiment 1:

So what we did was we took the tuning fork and hit it on metal. Then we put it on salt and the salt moved. The reason we put it over the salt was that a tuning fork cares vibrations. the reason the salt moved was because the vibration of the tuning fork was strong enough that it moved the salt.

experiment 2:

after we did that we took a cup and filled it with water. Then  we hit the tuning fork on metal and cared the vibration to the water and the water exploded. my hypothesis was that both of them  would make sound but  the conclusion was in the end it just the moved objects.

Science experiment (how light travels).

Hi, my name is blue energy. i am going to tell you about one of the light experiments i did. The light experiment i did was how light travels. My hypothesis was that light travels not that far, straight and and skinny. What i did was i took 4 cardboard cards a pencil clay and a flashlight, then i took my pencil and drew a bullseye on each card and stuck the pencil in all the cards but one. I shined the light of the flashlight through the holes in the cards and it hit the bullseye.

my personal recount

Hi my name is blue energy. today i will show you my personal recount. my recount is about my RV trip and about the pros and cons about an RV.

I am going on an RV trip. We are traveling Canada and our destination is halifax. I went with my sister, my dad, my mom, my grandpa, and my grandma. It was a 2 week trip. We went around 4 or 3 weeks ago. We went with Zach’s family for a bit over half the trip. The sleeping was ok but overall difficult because we went with our grandparents. They took the big bed at the end of the RV. I took the top with my mom, my sister slept on the foldable table bed, and my dad slept on the pullout couch.so it wasn’t that comfortable. The first couple campgrounds were not that good but the final couple campgrounds were really good. Especially the final one. It had a zipline and an obstacle course which is why I have an obstacle course and a zipline in my backyard.

One memorable part of the trip was when we were in Dartmouth. On the first day we took the Ferry to Halifax and walked around the Harbour area  checking out lots of bakeries and historical sites and artifacts. Most of the artifacts were from really old ships, they were rusty and big and broken and in multiple pieces.

On the second day in Dartmouth, we drove the RV across the huge bridge into Halifax, we stopped at another campsite where there was a tennis court and a really cool play structure. There was one way to get up: you had to Parkour to get up the other side. It was like an obstacle course but not that big. Later that day we went for pizza and once again took the ferry to Halifax, we walked around and came back for the pizza. The pizza was really good but it was spicy but good nonetheless. At the end of the day we drove back to the RV, had steak and huge marshmallows and then we went to bed.

I also used my recount skills on the storyboard i made of the wild robot:
